Job summary

Americold seeks a warehouse supervisor to oversee a shift-wide operation focused on efficient receiving, warehousing, and shipping of customer products to meet service and cost objectives.

You will supervise unloading, staging, and outbound shipments, ensure accuracy and quality, and lead cross-shift communication to achieve operational goals while enforcing safety policies in alignment with OSHA standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of supervisory or warehouse experience or completion of Americold internship or a bachelor's degree
• High school diploma or GED required
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

Responsibilities

• Supervise unloading of inbound shipments and staging of outbound shipments
• Ensure accuracy and condition of inbound and outbound shipments
• Coordinate cross-shift communication and conduct shift meetings
• Oversee safe operation of equipment and maintain a clean, secure work area
• Enforce safety policies and report incidents per OSHA/MSDS standards
• Direct work schedules, assign duties, and evaluate staff performance
• Address issues, assess training needs, and collaborate with management to resolve problems
