Job summary

Idaho Cleanup Project is seeking an Operations Engineer II Shift Technical Advisor to provide technical support to the on-duty Shift Supervisor for safe plant operation at Site - IWTU. You will monitor parameters, verify safety functions, and recommend corrective actions during normal and abnormal conditions.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering, 4+ years of relevant experience including nuclear experience, and the ability to obtain System Engineer qualifications as directed by

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field with 4+ years of relevant experience, including 1 year in nuclear work.
• U.S. citizenship is required due to federal facility security.
• Ability to qualify on System Engineer qualification per Engineering Manager.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance to the on-duty Shift Supervisor during normal and abnormal plant conditions.
• Monitor plant parameters and dynamics to ensure compliance with technical specifications.
• Report abnormalities or potential safety concerns to the control room and recommend corrective actions.
• Assist in classifying emergencies and evaluating operability to meet safety requirements.
