Our Shift Supports support senior leadership in executing daily operations and holding team members accountable for each component that makes Chick-fil-A great: our service and guest experience. A Shift Support’s two main focus areas are completing tasks so the restaurant runs effectively and coaching/developing team members. Shift Supports lead by example and set the tone others will follow.
Candidates have the opportunity to progress toward their area of strength and career interest while working in Operations. These can include Human Resources (Talent), Training, Inventory, Community Outreach/Marketing, Customer Experience, Food Safety, Facilities, and/or Hospitality.

- This position is available in both the front of house and back of house areas in the restaurant.
Full-time Availability
- Monday - Saturday (work schedule 4-5 days/week)
- Preferred daytime availability 5:30am - 5:00pm
- Nighttime availability 11:00am - 11:00pm or 2:00pm - 11:00pm
Part-time Availability
Minimum Friday and Saturday availability required.

Responsibilities
- Participate operationally in day-to-day activities in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant.
- Offer immediate and respectful response to guests’ needs.
- Assist in training of new hires, set the tone for a shift, and act as a role model for our team.
- Be a friendly, encouraging team player.
- Open and/or close, lead shifts, key holder.
- Count drawers and finalize day (Front of House Only).
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Monitor product quality to ensure guests receive the best product through each transaction.
- Ensure operational excellence in a food-safe environment.
- Preserve a safe work environment by ensuring all team members are informed of and respecting the employee health policy.
- Optimize guest experiences by ensuring speed and accuracy are held in high regard without rushing guests.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Prior experience in a high-volume, fast-paced, guest-focused environment is not required but is preferred.
