Job summary

Rite of Passage is hiring a Shift Supervisor for the South Florida Youth Academy in Miami, FL. The role leads daily operations of group living programs under supervision, ensuring compliance with policies and licensing while managing staff.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, supervisory experience, and a background in juvenile treatment. Military experience is acceptable; licensing requirements apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Public/Business Administration, Behavior Science, Counseling, Secondary Education, Health, Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, Criminal Justice, Social/Human Services or equivalent.
• Military experience and training is acceptable.
• Three (3) years of juvenile treatment experience or related field; may be substituted with approval.
• One (1) year supervisory experience.
• Must meet state-specific licensing requirements in addition to ROP requirements.

Responsibilities

• Daily management and supervisory control of Group Living operations under Director of Group Living/Program Director.
• Ensure programs are implemented per ROP policies and licensing requirements.
• Direct supervision of a minimum of two full-time employees.
• Create a positive, safe, and supportive environment for the youth served.
