Job summary

MP Equipment is seeking a production supervisor to plan, direct, and coordinate Weld, CNC, and Assembly activities to meet customer delivery dates while upholding the highest safety and quality standards. The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration with Inventory, Purchasing, and Engineering to ensure timely completion of manufactured and purchased items.

The ideal candidate will drive continuous improvement, manage staff performance, and maintain a safe, organized shop floor.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating Weld, CNC, and Assembly projects.
• Schedule and monitor production to hit on-time delivery.
• Enforce safety protocols and PPE usage.
• Train and evaluate staff; manage timecards and attendance.
• Analyze production data to improve quality and efficiency.
• Communicate with suppliers and internal teams clearly.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Commitment to continuous improvement in manufacturing.
• Experience with inventory coordination and purchasing touchpoints.
• Resolve production issues quickly to minimize delays.

Responsibilities

• Attend project meetings to collect and disseminate information.
• Coordinate shop activities to achieve on-time delivery.
• Monitor safety, PPE usage, and housekeeping on the floor.
• Track hourly activity to keep projects in target.
• Review operations with engineering and admin to solve problems.
• Drive continuous improvement across production lines.
• Support plant manager with maintenance and facility tasks.
• Ensure accurate timecard audits and timely corrections.
• Push for efficiency and cost reductions in projects.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
