Job summary

BWT Logistics is seeking a Shift Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse and transportation operations on the US team, leading frontline staff and ensuring safety, accuracy, and on-time service for customers.

The role requires at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity within logistics, a strong knowledge of safety regulations and warehouse management systems, and the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of warehouse and transportation staff during assigned shifts to meet operational targets.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and quality standards to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
• Monitor employee performance, provide coaching and feedback, and assist in resolving personnel issues to promote team effectiveness.
• Manage workflow by prioritizing tasks, allocating resources, and adjusting schedules to address operational demands and unexpected challenges.
• Maintain accurate records of shift activities, incidents, and inventory movements, and prepare reports for management review.
• Collaborate with other supervisors and departments to optimize logistics processes and support continuous improvement efforts.
• Respond promptly to operational disruptions, equipment malfunctions, or emergencies to minimize downtime and maintain service levels.

About The Role
