Job summary

Westlake Royal Building Products in Lenexa, KS is seeking a Production Supervisor to assist the Plant Manager by supervising production personnel and quality assurance technicians to meet sales demands while upholding safety and quality standards.

You will help maintain preventive maintenance schedules, lead Lean initiatives, train staff, run safety meetings, and coordinate with HR and Plant Manager to ensure training and certifications are completed on time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial/Manufacturing/Mechanical or related Engineering (preferred)
• 5 years of manufacturing experience
• 2 years of management experience

Responsibilities

• Supervise production personnel and quality assurance technicians to meet schedules and quality standards
• Maintain preventive maintenance schedules and train staff on preventive maintenance
• Lead Lean initiatives and continuous improvement programs
• Hold regular safety meetings and reinforce safety practices
• Coordinate training and certifications with HR and Plant Manager
• Ensure adherence to quality standards (Boral, ICBO/UBC) and process improvements
