Job summary

Tender Greens is seeking a Shift Supervisor to support the General Manager and Executive Kitchen Manager in daily front and back of house operations. The role requires full certification across FOH and BOH positions and is non-exempt.

You will drive guest satisfaction, supervise staff training, and ensure safety standards while coordinating with the GM and EKM on daily tasks and menu changes. This role emphasizes teamwork and operational excellence in a busy restaurant setting.

Qualifications

• Prior kitchen and FOH experience.
• Demonstrated leadership and coaching abilities.
• Customer service focused and able to handle high-stress environments.
• Flexible schedule based on restaurant needs.
• Food Safety Manager certification is ongoing or current.
• Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager and Executive Kitchen Manager in daily front and back of house operations.
• Train front of house team members to established policies and procedures.
• Train kitchen team members using the certification process.
• Assist in rollout of new menu items and recipe changes.
• Set up stations (Salad, Grill, Carve, Cashier, Prep, Dish, Bus) for service.
• Support with opening/closing and POS system functions (Aloha & Olo).
• Review training checklists and certifications with FOH staff.
