A retail company is looking for a Shift Supervisor Trainee. This entry-level role prepares you for future supervisory positions, focusing on management duties and customer service. This part-time position involves working varying hours and interacting with store staff and customers directly.

The Shift Supervisor Trainee role is an entry-level, short-term position that prepares an employee to perform higher-level supervisory roles, such as Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor. The trainee performs work as directed to prepare for future supervisory responsibilities, completes basic operations and management skills training, and learns about key aspects of the business (e.g., building customer loyalty through exceptional service) and CVS/pharmacy culture.
Upon successful completion of the training program, trainees are eligible for consideration for promotion to open Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor positions. These leadership roles support the CVS Store Management team in driving store execution and performance while building customer loyalty through excellent service. When no manager is onsite, the Operations or Shift Supervisor leads the store staff, ensures smooth operations, and is responsible for all opening and closing procedures.
Required Qualifications: Deductive reasoning, analytical skills, and computer literacy. Strong communication skills. Flexibility to work early mornings, overnights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
Preferred Qualifications: Retail experience.
Education: High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
