Position Summary

The Shift Supervisor Trainee role is an entry-level, short-term position that prepares employees for higher supervisory roles such as Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor. The role involves performing directed work, completing basic management training, and learning about key aspects of the business, including building customer loyalty through exceptional service and CVS/pharmacy culture.

Upon successful completion of the training program, trainees are eligible for promotion to supervisory positions that support store management in driving store performance and customer loyalty. When no manager is onsite, the supervisor leads store staff, ensures smooth operations, and oversees opening and closing procedures.

Essential Functions

• Management: Work effectively with store management and staff, supervise activities, communicate effectively.
• Customer Service: Assist customers, promote CVS service culture, handle customer issues, maintain confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Preferred: Experience in retail.
• Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred but not required.

Additional Details

• Weekly Hours: 40
• Employment Type: Full-time
• Pay Range: $16.25 - $26.00 per hour, depending on experience and location.
