The Shift Supervisor Trainee role is an entry-level, short-term position designed to prepare employees for higher-level supervisory roles, such as Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor. The trainee performs work as directed to gain experience, completes basic operations and management skills training, and learns about key aspects of the business, including building customer loyalty through exceptional service and CVS/pharmacy culture.
Upon successful completion of the training program, trainees are eligible for consideration for promotion to open supervisor positions. These leadership roles support store management in driving store execution and performance while fostering customer loyalty through excellent service. When no manager is onsite, the supervisor leads store staff, ensures smooth operations, and completes opening and closing procedures.
Required: Deductive reasoning, analytical skills, computer skills, advanced communication skills, and flexibility to work early mornings, overnights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
Preferred: Retail experience.
High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
Anticipated weekly hours: 32
Time type: Full-time
The typical pay range is $16.00 - $23.00 per hour. Actual salary depends on experience, education, location, and other factors.
