The Shift Supervisor Trainee role is an entry-level, short-term position designed to prepare employees for higher-level supervisory roles such as Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor. The trainee performs assigned work to develop management skills, learns about key aspects of the business (e.g., building customer loyalty through exceptional service), and understands CVS/pharmacy culture.
Upon successful completion of the training, trainees are considered for promotion to open supervisory positions. These roles support the store management team in driving store execution and performance, with a focus on excellent customer service. When no manager is onsite, the supervisor leads store staff, ensures smooth operations, and oversees opening and closing procedures.
Deductive reasoning, analytical skills, computer skills, and advanced communication skills. Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, overnights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
Anticipated weekly hours: 29
Time type: Part-time
Pay range: $16.00 - $23.00/hour, depending on experience, education, and location.
