The Shift Supervisor Trainee role is an entry-level, short-term position that prepares an employee for higher-level supervisory roles, such as Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor. The trainee performs tasks as directed to gain experience in management, completes basic training in operations and management skills, and learns about key aspects of the business, including building customer loyalty through exceptional service and CVS/pharmacy culture.
Upon successful completion of the training, trainees are eligible for consideration for promotion to open supervisor positions. These leadership roles support the store management team in driving store performance and building customer loyalty through excellent service. When no manager is onsite, the supervisor leads staff, ensures smooth operations, and oversees opening and closing procedures.
Deductive reasoning, analytical skills, computer skills, and advanced communication skills. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, overnights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
High School diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.
Anticipated weekly hours: 20
Time type: Part-time
Pay range: $16.00 - $23.00 per hour, depending on experience, education, and location.
