Position Summary

The Shift Supervisor Trainee role is an entry-level, short-term position designed to prepare employees for higher supervisory roles such as Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor. The role involves performing tasks as directed, completing basic management training, and learning about key aspects of the business, including customer loyalty and CVS/pharmacy culture.

Upon successful completion, trainees are eligible for promotion to supervisory roles that support store management in driving store performance and customer service excellence. When no manager is onsite, the supervisor leads store staff, ensures smooth operations, and completes opening and closing procedures.

Essential Functions

1. Management: Work effectively with management and staff, supervise activities, and communicate effectively.
2. Customer Service: Assist customers, promote CVS service culture, handle customer issues, and maintain confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Preferred: Retail experience.
• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.

• Anticipated Weekly Hours: 20
• Time Type: Part time
• Pay Range: $16.00 - $24.00 per hour, depending on experience and location.
