The Shift Supervisor Trainee role is an entry-level, short-term position that prepares an employee for higher supervisory roles, such as Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor. The trainee performs assigned work to develop management skills, learns about key business aspects (e.g., building customer loyalty through exceptional service), and understands CVS/pharmacy culture. Upon successful completion, trainees are eligible for promotion to open supervisor roles, supporting store management in driving store performance and customer loyalty. When no manager is onsite, the supervisor leads store staff, ensures smooth operations, and completes opening and closing procedures.
Required: Deductive reasoning, analytical skills, computer skills, advanced communication skills, and flexibility to work early mornings, overnights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
Preferred: Retail experience.
Education: High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
Anticipated Weekly Hours: 29
Time Type: Part-time
Pay Range: $18.72/hour (note: this is a fixed pay rate; actual compensation may vary based on experience, location, etc.)
