The Shift Supervisor Trainee role is an entry-level, short-term position that prepares an employee for higher-level supervisory roles, such as Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor. The role involves completing basic operations and management skills training, learning about key aspects of the business (e.g., building customer loyalty through exceptional service), and understanding CVS/pharmacy culture.
Upon successful completion of the training program, trainees are eligible for promotion to open Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor positions. These leadership roles support the store management team in driving store performance and building customer loyalty through excellent service. When no manager is onsite, the supervisor leads store staff, ensures smooth operations, and completes all opening and closing procedures.
Deductive reasoning, analytical skills, computer skills, advanced communication skills, and flexibility to work early mornings, overnights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.

The typical pay range for this role is $17.25 - $26.00 per hour. Actual offer depends on experience, education, location, and other factors.
