The Shift Supervisor Trainee role is an entry-level, short-term position that prepares employees for higher supervisory roles such as Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor. The role involves performing assigned work to develop supervisory skills, completing basic management training, and learning about key aspects of the business, including customer loyalty and CVS/pharmacy culture.
Upon successful completion, trainees are eligible for promotion to open supervisory positions. These roles support store management in driving store performance and building customer loyalty through excellent service. When no manager is onsite, the supervisor leads store staff and ensures smooth operations, including opening and closing procedures.
Required: Deductive reasoning, analytical skills, computer skills, advanced communication skills, and flexibility to work early mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
Preferred: Retail experience.
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
