A leading company in health solutions is seeking a Shift Supervisor Trainee. This entry-level position prepares candidates for supervisory roles by completing management training and learning about customer loyalty in retail. Candidates will lead teams, handle customer inquiries, and support store operations while gaining necessary skills for potential future promotions.
At CVS Health, we're building a world of health around every consumer and surrounding ourselves with dedicated colleagues who are passionate about transforming health care.
As the nation's leading health solutions company, we reach millions of Americans through our local presence, digital channels, and more than 300,000 purpose-driven colleagues—caring for people where, when, and how they choose in a way that is uniquely more connected, more convenient, and more compassionate. And we do it all with heart, each and every day.
The Shift Supervisor Trainee role is an entry-level, short-term position that prepares an employee for higher-level supervisory roles, such as Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor. The trainee performs work as directed to prepare for future supervisory responsibilities, completes basic operations and management skills training, and learns about key aspects of the business (e.g., building customer loyalty through exceptional service) and CVS/pharmacy culture.
Upon successful completion of the training program, trainees are eligible for promotion to open Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor positions. These roles support the CVS Store Management team in driving store execution and performance, while building consumer loyalty through excellent customer service. When no manager is onsite, the Operations or Shift Supervisor leads the store staff, ensures smooth store operations, and completes all opening and closing procedures.
