The Shift Supervisor Trainee role is an entry-level, short-term position that prepares an employee to perform higher-level supervisory roles, such as Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor. The trainee performs work as directed to prepare for future responsibilities, completes basic operations and management skills training, and learns about key aspects of the business and CVS/pharmacy culture.
Upon successful completion of the training program, trainees are eligible for promotion to open supervisor positions. These leadership roles support the store management team in driving store execution and performance while building customer loyalty through excellent service. When no manager is onsite, the supervisor leads the store staff, ensures smooth operations, and completes all opening and closing procedures.
Required: Deductive reasoning, analytical skills, computer skills, advanced communication skills, and flexible schedule including some early mornings, overnights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
Preferred: Experience in retail
High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
Anticipated Weekly Hours: 25
Time Type: Part-time
Pay Range: $16.00 - $23.00 per hour, depending on experience, education, and location.
