Job summary

G2 Secure Staff is seeking a shift supervisor to manage day-to-day activities, oversee a defined employee group, and ensure accurate timekeeping and efficient workload management at airport locations. You will coordinate with the Account Manager and General Manager to report discrepancies and optimize operations.

The ideal candidate has some supervisory/management experience in shift work, strong English communication skills, and a commitment to safety and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Some supervisory/management experience in shift work environment.
• Must be 18 years of age or older and have a reliable telephone and transportation.
• Must be able to read, understand and carry out instructions in English.

Responsibilities

• Must be able to perform all duties of subordinate employees when necessary.
• Must be familiar with all pertinent regulations (Company/Client/Government Agencies).
• Schedule personnel daily and furnish copy to Account Manager; obtain written approval for overtime.
• Monitor employee activity and make adjustments as needed.
• Ensure employees follow all regulations/procedures.
• Check In/Out sheets to ensure all employees logged times correctly.
• Communicate effectively with leads, client representatives and passengers.
• Make recommendations to Account Manager regarding personnel performance.
• Report safety hazards and equipment problems to Account Manager or General Manager.
• Respond to inquiries from leads, employees, client, and passengers in a timely, courteous manner.
• Maintain cleanliness of immediate work area and report maintenance needs.
• Project a positive image and respond to inquiries from clients, staff and the public.
• Provide clear direction to leads, coordinators, warehouse, and crews with feedback.
• Attend meetings and trainings as required.
• Utilize training materials to develop a safe well trained staff and a safe working environment.
• Adhere to company policies and participate in achievement of objectives.
• Utilize company and client equipment and resources in a cost effective manner.
• Perform quality assurance service audits as directed to conform to client specifications.
