Reworld Waste in Avon, OH is seeking a Shift Supervisor to safely operate the facility and coordinate activities among departments and contractors.

You will lead safety, ensure compliance, schedule audits, supervise staff, and drive performance while maintaining environmental permits. The role requires a bachelor's degree or 3 years in waste processing, plus DOT/OSHA/HAZWOPER training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent management experience (or 3 years in waste processing)
• DOT Certification Training (8-hour) or ability to complete
• OSHA Training (10-hour) or ability to complete
• HAZWOPER Training (8-hour) or ability to complete
• Must exercise good judgement and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and time management
• Proficient with Microsoft Suite

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe working environment for all personnel.
• Enforce safety policies and permits.
• Coordinate maintenance with facility maintenance team.
• Maximize operational performance and efficiency.
• Train and develop employees on process and protocol.
• Maintain environmental permits compliance.
• Supervise staff to ensure safety and policy adherence.
• Keep administrative records and accountability.
• Respond to injuries or accidents.
• Perform shift, daily, weekly audits and verifications.
• Undertake other duties as assigned
