Job summary

Aetna is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead daily store operations in New Mexico, USA. You will supervise staff, coordinate tasks with the store manager, and ensure excellent customer service while maintaining safety and compliance.

The role requires flexibility for varied hours, experience in retail, and knowledge of store policies. This is a frontline supervisory position with opportunities to contribute to process improvements and team development.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or high school diploma with equivalent experience.
Strong teamwork and relationship-building skills.
Analytical and problem-solving ability.
Experience in retail and customer service.
Flexibility to work varied hours, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime.
Understanding of CVS or pharmacy store culture is preferred.
Basic training in conflict resolution and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

Plan, assign, and coordinate tasks with store manager and teams.
Direct and supervise staff during shift to ensure smooth operations.
Lead the store when the manager is absent, ensuring proper opening/closing procedures.
Handle customer inquiries, issues, and complaints to promote a positive experience.
Monitor safety protocols, train staff, conduct audits, and address violations.
Maintain clear communication between shifts and departments.
Prioritize tasks, motivate staff, and manage conflicts to keep the team productive.
Report crucial information to and from management.
