Applegreen USA Welcome Centers Central Services in Seaside Heights, NJ is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead on-shift teams, ensure exceptional customer service, and uphold brand and food-safety standards. Training new hires and monitoring cash handling will be part of the role.

The position requires reliable attendance, flexible scheduling including days, nights, weekends, and holidays, and the ability to stand for extended periods. Join a team focused on pace, performance, and service.

Qualifications

• Cash handling and customer service experience required.
• Shift supervisor or leadership experience preferred.
• Ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic manner.

Responsibilities

• Lead the activities of team members on shift.
• Provide friendly customer service and resolve complaints.
• Complete opening, daily and closing procedures per policies.
• Operate POS system and process payments following cash handling policies.
• Ensure proper food handling: wrapping, labelling, dating, stocking, temperature checks.
• Perform kitchen tasks: prep, thawing, cooking, packaging, cleaning.
• Stock and sanitize workstation and equipment.
• Cross-sell and up-sell products.
• Maintain knowledge of plaza products and services.
• Assist in training new team members.
• Follow brand standards and safety requirements.
• Report observations or problems to plaza leadership.
• Execute additional tasks as assigned.
