Job summary

Bunge Iberica SA seeks a seasoned operations supervisor to lead day-to-day shift activities in our Illinois plant. You will supervise crushing, refining or packaging operations, drive safety culture, and pursue productivity improvements across the site.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field or 5+ years of progressive industrial operations experience, with willingness to work rotating shifts and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years of progressive industrial operations experience.
• Experience in soybean crushing, oil refining, or packaging operations is preferred.
• Ability to use basic software tools (Lotus Notes, MS Word).
• Willingness to work odd hours and rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily shift operations (crush, refinery, packaging) to meet efficiency goals.
• Foster a safety culture and zero-injury objective across the team.
• Monitor productivity, sanitation, and food safety compliance.
• Approve daily shift reports and KPIs, investigate issues, and drive improvements.
• Support annual shutdown planning and safety programs with management.
