CVS Health is seeking a Shift Supervisor Trainee in Wilbraham, MA. This entry-level position prepares candidates for supervisory roles by fostering skills in management and customer service. Successful trainees may advance to supervisory positions, overseeing staff and ensuring exceptional service during shifts.
The Shift Supervisor Trainee role is an entry-level, short-term position designed to prepare employees for higher supervisory roles such as Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor. Trainees perform tasks as directed to develop supervisory skills, complete basic operations and management training, and learn about key aspects of the business, including building customer loyalty through exceptional service and understanding CVS/pharmacy culture.
Upon successful completion of the training program, trainees are considered for promotion to open supervisory positions. These roles support store management by driving store performance and fostering customer loyalty through excellent service. When no manager is onsite, the supervisor leads the store staff, ensures smooth operations, and oversees opening and closing procedures.
Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent. Experience in retail, deductive reasoning, analytical skills, computer skills, and advanced communication skills are preferred. Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime, is required.
The pay range reflects the base hourly rate or full-time salary; actual offers depend on experience, education, geography, and other factors.
