Candidates should have a high school diploma and possess effective communication and analytical skills to thrive in this dynamic retail environment.
The Shift Supervisor Trainee role is an entry-level, short-term position designed to prepare employees for higher supervisory roles such as Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor. Trainees perform assigned work to develop supervisory skills, complete basic management training, and learn about key aspects of the business, including building customer loyalty through excellent service and understanding CVS/pharmacy culture.
Upon successful completion of the training program, trainees are considered for promotion to open supervisory positions. These roles support store management by driving store performance and fostering customer loyalty through exceptional service. The pay range reflects the base hourly rate or full-time annual salary, with actual offers based on experience, education, location, and other factors.
