CVS Health is seeking a Shift Supervisor Trainee who will undergo training to develop supervisory skills and enhance customer loyalty. This entry-level position supports store management in ensuring outstanding service and operational efficiency, preparing candidates for advancement within the company.
The Shift Supervisor Trainee role is an entry-level, short-term position designed to prepare employees for higher supervisory roles such as Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor. The trainee performs assigned work to develop supervisory skills, completes training in operations and management, and learns about key aspects of the business, including building customer loyalty through exceptional service and understanding CVS/pharmacy culture.
Upon successful completion of the training program, trainees are eligible for promotion to open supervisor positions. These roles support store management in driving store performance and enhancing customer loyalty through excellent service. When no manager is onsite, the supervisor leads the store staff, ensures smooth operations, and completes opening and closing procedures.
Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, retail experience, deductive reasoning, analytical skills, computer skills, and advanced communication skills. Flexibility to work early mornings, overnights, weekends, and overtime is necessary.
The pay range reflects the base hourly or annual salary, with actual offers dependent on experience, education, location, and other factors.
