PLANTA is seeking a Shift Supervisor to partner with the General Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations in New York. The role focuses on staff training, maximizing top-line revenue, and controlling labour and cost of goods while maintaining exceptional guest experiences.

You will lead by example, foster a warm and positive atmosphere for guests and staff, and ensure adherence to SOPs, safety, and sanitation standards across shifts. This is a dynamic, growth-oriented opportunity.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a Supervisory role in a high-volume full-service restaurant.

Responsibilities

• Champion the brand’s vision and values, ensuring alignment with the concept team.
• Lead a warm, welcoming environment for guests and employees, driving a POSITIVE culture.
• Oversee shift operations, implement SOPs, and manage labour and cost of goods.
• Support leadership in staff training initiatives and schedule creation.
• Ensure health, safety, hygiene, and food safety standards are met.
• Monitor inventory, address guest complaints, and coordinate maintenance tasks.
• Attend BEO and Operations Team meetings.
