Job summary

RaceTrac is seeking a Shift Manager to lead a fast-paced, guest-focused team and drive store performance. You’ll coach staff, manage shift operations, and ensure food safety, inventory, and cleanliness standards are met. A hands-on leader with strong communication will thrive in this role.

The position offers competitive pay ($39,600–$42,600/year) with overtime and shift differentials, plus a broad benefits package and growth opportunities into General/Co-Managers roles.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of work experience (retail, restaurant, or food service preferred).
• 1+ years of leadership or supervisory experience (preferred).
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Willingness to obtain and maintain required permits (food handlers, alcohol server, etc.).
• Strong communication and team-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a winning team on your shift.
• Provide clear direction and assist with food service, stocking, cleaning, or cash handling.
• Coach team members in real-time, offering guidance and support during every shift.
• Address guest concerns with empathy and professionalism.
• Oversee store operations on designated shifts and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Maintain inventory in a neat and organized manner and ensure cleanliness.
