Job summary

Starbucks Coffee Company is seeking a shift supervisor to lead with craft and heart, creating a welcoming space for the community in Killingly, CT. You will guide team members, ensure quality beverages and food, and uphold store safety and standards while delivering outstanding customer service.

The role requires flexible availability including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, with opportunities for growth and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Six (6) months of experience in a position that required constant interacting with and fulfilling the requests of customers.
• At least six (6) months of experience delegating tasks to other employees and/or coordinating the tasks of two (2) or more employees.
• Ability to direct the work of others.
• Ability to learn quickly.
• Effective oral communication skills.
• Knowledge of the retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead with craft and heart to make Starbucks a welcoming space for the community.
• Ensure quality beverages and food products, and uphold store safety and cash handling standards.
• Coordinate and delegate tasks among team members, including two or more staff.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain strong relationships with customers and coworkers.
• Adhere to store policies and standards, including safety and security requirements.
