Shields Point, LLC in Huntsville, AL is seeking a Guard II to supervise the Vendor guard force at Redstone Arsenal on full-time shifts. You will direct Security Guard I personnel, ensure 100% post coverage and post-order compliance, and handle incident response with oversight from Acuity site supervisors and the Project Manager.

The role requires U.S. citizenship or permanent residency, 21+ years, a high school diploma, and a valid driver license.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident; eligible to work in the United States.
• At least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Clear written and spoken English; able to write factual reports.
• Valid driver license if duties include driving.
• No disqualifying criminal history; background checks required.
• ASRB security officer license/registration within 30 days of employment; training required.
• Pass post-offer medical exam and AR 190-56 PAT.
• 3+ years in security/military with supervisory experience.
• Supervise a shift of eight guards across multiple posts.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise guard personnel during shifts; manage a shift of eight or more guards across multiple gates and posts.
• Ensure 100% post coverage and compliance with post orders; adjust coverage to prevent uncovered posts.
• Review and approve incident reports; coordinate with authorities as needed.
• Maintain accountability of equipment, keys, radios, and property; ensure 24/7 reachability for shift coordination.
• Enforce conduct standards; replace personnel as required and escalate to management.
