Job summary

Taco Bell is seeking a Shift Leader (Hourly) to drive daily operations on the restaurant floor. You will lead, coach, and motivate the team to deliver exceptional guest experiences while maintaining brand standards and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of customer-facing restaurant experience.
• At least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Must have or be willing to obtain required food handler's certification for respective state/local area.
• Must be able to fluently speak and understand English.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, motivate, and manage restaurant staff during the shift.
• Train new employees in procedures, guest experience, and company standards.
• Monitor employee performance and provide feedback.
• Lead shifts by assigning tasks and ensuring smooth hand-offs between shifts.
• Coach and support team members to improve speed, service, and execution.
• Ensure proper cash handling and register management during the shift.
• Oversee daily operations including food prep, service, and cleanliness.
• Monitor inventory and timely ordering to avoid shortages.
• Ensure health, safety, and sanitation standards are maintained.
