SSC Services For Education in Prairie View, TX is hiring a full-time Shift Supervisor (Grounds) to oversee a team during a morning shift. This role directs activities, ensures adherence to policy, and maintains grounds upkeep.

Responsibilities

• Direct the activities of associates during a specific shift and oversee that assigned job expectations are completed while policy and procedure is maintained.
• Provide training and create work schedules.
• Evaluate the performance of workers, reward high performers and discipline issues.
• Prepare production or sales reports for management and ensure quality, productivity and safety.
• Serve as the point of contact for employee requests and time off.
• Mentor and develop employees and encourage advancement within the organization.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

We are hiring immediately for a full time SHIFT SUPERVISOR (GROUNDS) position.

Location: TAMU PV Gr - 100 University Drive, Prairie View, TX 77446. (Openings at other locations within school district available) Note: online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Full time schedule; Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 4:00 pm. More details upon interview. (Full and Part Time with the flexibility to meet most scheduling needs)

Requirement: 1 year as a grounds supervisor with facility maintenance experience is required.

Pay Range: $15.00 per hour to $19.00 per hour.

• Acts as the contact person for employees with complaints or requests for time off.
• May act as a mentor, develop employees and encourage workers to set goals and strive for advancement within the organization.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
