Job summary

Overview

Direct the activities of associates during a specific shift and oversee that assigned job expectations are completed while policy and procedure are maintained.

Responsibilities

• Provide training and create work schedules.
• Evaluate the performance of workers, reward high performers, and discipline employees who fail to meet reasonable standards of performance.
• Prepare production or sales reports for management and ensure the unit meets expectations for quality, productivity, and safety.
• Act as the contact person for employees with complaints or requests for time off.
• Mentor employees and encourage development and advancement within the organization.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in union management, a food handlers certification in NYC, and experience in food dining is preferred.
• Full time and part time availability with Tuesday through Saturday schedule, 4:00 pm to 12:30 am.
• Experience in a supervisory role within a dining/food service environment is desirable.

Compensation

Fixed pay rate: $25.00 per hour.
