Compass Group USA's Chartwells Higher Ed division in Shawnee, OK, seeks a full-time Shift Supervisor to lead a team during a specific shift and ensure daily objectives align with policy and quality standards.

You will train associates, schedule work, monitor performance, prepare reports, and serve as the point of contact for staff questions and time-off requests, while fostering a constructive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Direct the activities of associates during a shift and ensure that assigned job expectations are completed while policy and procedure are maintained.
• Provide training and create work schedules.
• Evaluate performance of workers, reward high performers and discipline employees who fail to meet standards.
• Prepare production or sales reports for management and ensure unit meets quality, productivity and safety.
• Act as the contact person for employees with complaints or requests for time off.
• Mentor and develop employees and encourage advancement within the organization.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

• Acts as the contact person for employees with complaints or requests for time off.
• May act as a mentor, develop employees and encourage workers to set goals and strive for advancement within the organization.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
