Job summary

SSC Services for Education is hiring a full-time Shift Supervisor at Rockhurst University in Kansas City, MO. You will direct a shift of associates, oversee tasks for quality and safety, and manage schedules and training to meet expected standards.

Responsibilities

• Direct the activities of associates during a shift.

• Prepare production or sales reports for management and ensure quality, productivity and safety.
• Serve as the point of contact for employee requests or time-off needs.
• Mentor employees and encourage career advancement within the organization.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• We are hiring immediately for a full time SHIFT SUPERVISOR position.
• Location: Rockhurst University - 1100 Rockhurst Road, Kansas City, MO 64110. (Openings at other locations within school district available) Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full time schedule; Days may vary, 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Some weekends included. More details upon interview. (Full and Part Time with the flexibility to meet most scheduling needs)
• Requirement: Prior supervisory experience is required.
• Fixed Pay Rate: $22.50 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Direct the activities of associates during a specific shift and oversee that assigned job expectations are completed while policy and procedure is maintained.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for providing training and creating work schedules.
• Evaluating the performance of workers, rewarding high performers and disciplining employees who fail to meet reasonable standards of work performance.
• Prepare production or sales reports for management and ensure their unit meets the expectations for quality, productivity and safety.
• Acts as the contact person for employees with complaints or requests for time off.
• May act as a mentor, develop employees and encourage workers to set goals and strive for advancement within the organization.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
