Job summary

Applegreen is hiring at our Bloomfield plaza to lead a team on shift, deliver friendly customer service, and uphold brand standards.

You will manage opening and closing, operate the POS, handle cash, ensure food safety, assist in training, and help upsell products while keeping a clean, safe, welcoming workspace for travelers.

This role requires flexibility to work days, nights, weekends and holidays, with the opportunity to grow with us.

Qualifications

• Cash handling and customer service experience required.
• Shift supervisor or leadership experience preferred.
• Demonstrates the ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner.

Responsibilities

• Lead the activities of team members on shift.
• Provide friendly customer service and resolve complaints.
• Complete opening, daily and closing procedures/checklists.
• Operate POS system, process payments, and follow cash handling policies.
• Ensure proper food handling including wrapping, labeling, dating, stocking, storing, rotating, and checking temperatures.
• Perform kitchen tasks including prepping, thawing, cooking, packaging, wrapping, and cleaning.
• Stock, clean, and sanitize workstation and equipment.
• Actively cross-sell and up-sell products.
• Maintain knowledge of plaza products and services.
• Assist in training new team members.
• Follow brand standards and food safety requirements and all company policies.
• Inform plaza leadership of observations or concerns.
• Execute other tasks as assigned.
