Applegreen is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead on-shift operations across its travel plazas. You will ensure top-notch customer service, enforce brand standards, assist in training new team members, and manage cash handling with accuracy.

Responsibilities include opening/closing routines, POS transactions, food safety compliance, stock management, and cross-selling. A strong focus on teamwork and guest satisfaction is essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Cash handling and customer service experience required.
• Shift supervisor or leadership experience preferred.
• Demonstrates the ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner.

Responsibilities

• Lead the activities of team members on shift.
• Provide friendly customer service and resolve complaints.
• Complete opening, daily and closing procedures.
• Operate POS system and handle payments.
• Ensure proper food handling and temperature checks.
• Stock, clean and sanitize workstation and equipment.
• Actively cross-sell and up-sell products.
• Maintain knowledge of plaza products and services.
• Assist in training of new team members.
• Follow brand standards and policies.
• Inform plaza leadership of observations or problems.
• Execute a variety of other tasks as assigned.
