Job summary

The Shift Supervisor at Graton Resort & Casino supports the Manager and Assistant Manager during shifts, and runs the outlet in their absence. This role also trains new Team Members and assists Counter Attendants during busy times, ensuring efficient operations and exceptional guest service in the Marketplace at Graton.

Key duties include maintaining service standards, managing par levels, leading pre-shift huddles, and handling guest opportunities promptly while adhering to health and safety

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members and Management in writing and speaking.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• One year of food and beverage supervisory experience.
• Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to delegate and evaluate team members.
• Sound judgment in decision making.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Must obtain a gaming license from the Graton Gaming Commission.
• Must possess or obtain a California Food Handler Certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist Manager and Assistant Manager during scheduled shift and run outlet in their absence.
• Assist Counter Attendants during busy times and train new Team Members.
• Promote fast, friendly, and courteous service in Marketplace at Graton Resort & Casino.
• Maintain calm demeanor during high volumes and events.
• Establish and maintain par levels for products, supplies and equipment.
• Conduct pre-shift huddles and review pertinent information.
• Respond to guest opportunities promptly and efficiently.
• Assist with month-end inventory.
