Job summary

Starbucks Coffee Company in New York stores is seeking a shift supervisor who leads with craft and heart to create a welcoming space for our community. You will coach beverage and food preparation to standard recipes, oversee quality, safety, and cash handling, and mentor team members during busy shifts.

You bring a minimum six months of customer service experience, proven ability to delegate tasks, and the enthusiasm to learn quickly in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Regular attendance and punctuality with or without accommodation.
• Available to work flexible hours including mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and holidays.
• Maintain store policies and standards, including quality beverages/food, cash handling, safety.
• Six months of customer-facing work experience.
• Six months of experience delegating tasks to others and coordinating two or more employees.

Responsibilities

• Lead with craft and heart to make the coffeehouse a welcoming space.
• Coach beverage and food preparation to standard recipes or customer customizations.
• Direct and support a team to ensure smooth store operations and guest satisfaction.
