MFA Petroleum Company is seeking a Break Time Shift Leader to assist in store management and daily operations. You will help with customer service, merchandising, and supervision to ensure smooth shift execution and achievement of sales targets.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older
• Friendly, customer service-oriented person who enjoys a fast-paced work environment
• Valid driver's license and vehicle insurance with adequate transportation to/from bank
• Flexible availability which may include all shifts, weekends, and holidays
• Works well individually and in leading a team
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations to make change, complete shift reports, and account for numbers of products during vendor check in
• Ability to learn new concepts and use technical materials
• Ability to perform assigned duties with accuracy and with minimal supervision
• Legal authorization to work in the United States

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers and ensuring fast, friendly service; assist during peak hours and handle complaints promptly.
• Assist in all aspects of store operation including daily reporting, banking, inventory, bookkeeping, fuel management, and maintaining equipment and facility.
• Assist in proper merchandising, pricing, promotions, and ensuring products are stocked and presented well.
• Supervise shifts in the absence of the manager; train new employees on policies and procedures.
• Maintain timely and professional communication with customers, vendors, associates, and management.
• Understand store finances; help meet or exceed sales and controllable expense goals; participate in audits and loss control.
• Exhibit professionalism and teamwork; assist in recruiting, training, and development of store staff.
• Utilize point of sale systems and other technology; perform calculations and generate shift reports.
• Adhere to company policies; perform other duties as assigned.
