Job summary

Dorrance Burger King is seeking a Shift Supervisor to support daily restaurant operations and provide exceptional customer service. The role involves assisting the GM/AM, managing inventories and cash, and ensuring the restaurant meets brand standards.

The Shift Supervisor will train and develop a productive store team, strive for sales goals, and create a fun, energized work environment while maintaining safety and sanitation standards in all areas of the restaurant.

Responsibilities

• Customer Service: Ensure a pleasant shopping experience for all customers, respond to complaints and solicit customer feedback; regularly coach team to provide consistent high-level service.
• Clean, Safe and Secure: Maintain a facility that is consistently “inspection ready” in all areas (food preparation, restrooms, guest contact); comply with Department of Health, internal company, brand inspection standards; follow daily Onvo Safety Inspection/Emergency Response Protocols.
• Food Safety and Planning: Enforce sanitary practices for food handling, general cleanliness and maintenance of kitchen and dining areas; ensure compliance with operational standards, company policies, federal/state/local laws and ordinances; establish consistent high quality of food preparation and service.
• Training: Assist GM/AM to ensure the restaurant has a well-trained staff that meets and exceeds operational standards.
• Inventory Control: Maintain inventories and store appearance; treat inventory as cash, research, discuss and report variances to GM promptly; keep storage areas clean and products organized and labeled.
• Labor Controls: Assist GM/AM to ensure all shifts are covered and properly staffed; coordinate daily assignments and activities of associates based on sales.
• Cash Controls: Ensure proper execution of all cash management activities, accurate cash handling, credit card processing and safety procedures; report any unexplained cash shortage over $5 to GM or District Manager.
• Operations: Strive to be the best in the Brand; keep restaurant in compliance with all Brand standards; maintain a safe, clean work environment; pass all internal operations training and paperwork audits; ensure all brand-sponsored inspections at or above standards; provide superior customer service to all guests.
