Job summary

Nuro is seeking a Shift Supervisor for its In-Vehicle team to build and lead an operator group responsible for safe, efficient operations.

You will hire and onboard operators, manage performance, coach the team, and drive continuous improvement projects. The role requires 2+ years of people management, knowledge of labor laws, and a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends. Base pay ranges from $72,160 to $97,420 with bonus eligibility.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience managing teams, including performance reviews.
• Proven leadership with ownership of team output and coaching.
• Understanding of US labor, employment, and driving laws.
• Strong problem-solving and data-review capabilities.
• Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead Start of Shift and End of Shift activities.
• Hire, onboard, and develop operators with L&D support.
• Manage performance metrics and feedback with stakeholders.
• Coordinate with planning to train operators for new features.
• Drive continuous improvement and share best practices across sites.
