Shift Supervisor (Automotive Quality) - 2nd & 3rd Shifts - Bowling Green, Ohio

Compensation: $20.00 per hour

Shift Availability:

• 2nd Shift: 3:00pm to 11:00pm, availability up to seven days weekly
• 3rd Shift: 11:00pm to 7:00am, availability up to seven days weekly

Role Overview:

Take charge of daily quality control functions and lead onsite personnel. You will be responsible for fostering productive professional relationships with corporate staff members.

Core Responsibilities:

• Foster a collaborative and accountable work culture by mentoring new hires alongside the Territory/Area Manager.
• Ensure optimal staffing levels by managing daily schedules and coordinating with the Territory/Area Manager to guarantee full coverage.
• Support administrative accuracy by collecting daily timesheets and inputting hours and reports into the eValidate system.
• Help maintain high standards by conducting performance counseling and coordinating employee release requests with HR and management.
• Ensure team proficiency by overseeing the training of quality inspectors and leaders, while verifying that all training records remain current.
• Uphold operational integrity by ensuring established procedures are followed and all documentation is correctly submitted to the relevant departments.
• Collaborate with the Quality and Territory Managers to identify and address recurring performance gaps.
• Support the corporate HR team in the rollout and execution of updated organizational policies.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED is mandatory, with an Associate degree being an advantage.
• At least three years of supervisory experience specifically within an automotive quality setting is required.
• Proficiency in maintaining detailed documentation.
• Strong capabilities in both written and verbal communication.
• Capacity to function effectively both autonomously and within a group setting.
• Demonstration of a professional and constructive demeanor.
