Job Description

Under the supervision of the Plant Manager, performs activities to maximize high-quality production, minimize waste and expenses, and foster employee involvement and morale. Establishes measurable work goals, communicates them effectively, involves employees in methods of goal attainment, and encourages positive team performance.

Minimum Qualifications

• A college degree and prior manufacturing experience are highly desirable.
• Strong leadership, organization, communication, and supervisory skills.
• Computer proficiency is highly desirable.

Essential Functions

• Set goals with Plant Manager approval.
• Meet or exceed productivity and quality objectives.
• Manage employees to contribute towards objectives.

Essential Responsibilities

• Attend shift change meetings promptly.
• Review and approve daily hours worked.
• Complete production reports.
• Understand and utilize Material Safety Data Sheets.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
