Challenge Manufacturing is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for the 3rd Shift to support our operations in Spartanburg, SC. This role involves overseeing maintenance activities, ensuring safety and quality standards, and fostering a positive team environment.

What We Are Looking For

The Maintenance Supervisor assists the Department Manager in planning and monitoring maintenance work to support production, quality, and safety. They lead the maintenance team, ensure compliance with standards, and create a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage maintenance processes with accuracy and discipline.
• Coach and assist employees in problem-solving.
• Maintain training records and ensure quality standards are met.
• Oversee preventive maintenance activities.
• Monitor safety, housekeeping, and employee well-being.
• Report and investigate incidents.
• Manage attendance and enforce discipline.
• Support daily operations and conduct toolbox talks.

Work Details

This is a full-time, night shift position (9:30 PM - 5:30 AM, Monday to Friday) at our Spartanburg plant. Flexibility to work early, late, or weekends may be required to meet production needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience or equivalent education and training.
• Bachelor’s degree or HS Diploma/GED with 3-5 years of experience.
• Strong performance standards, responsibility, and integrity.
• Conflict resolution and positive relationship building skills.
• Proficiency with measurement tools, Microsoft Office, and blueprint reading.
• Steel toe boots and hard hats are required on site.
