Job summary

Cardinal McCloskey Community Services seeks a Shift Supervisor to support direct care staff and individuals served, promoting independence, inclusion, and community participation. You will help develop and implement program plans and assist the residence manager in daily operations.

This on-site role requires on-call coverage during absences, a NYS driver's license, and the ability to maintain AMAP, CPR, First Aid, and SCIP certifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and one-year experience in DD residential services preferred.
• Valid New York State driver's license required (acceptable driving record as issued by Department of Motor Vehicles).
• Must maintain required certifications, i.e. AMAP, CPR, First Aid, SCIP.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision to direct support professionals and individuals served to foster independence, community growth, social maturity, and inclusion.
• Participate in development and implementation of each program plan with the understanding that all people have the ability to participate in one's community.
• Assist Residence Manager and Assistant Residence Manager in tasks related to daily operation of the residence.
• This position is on-call during the absence of the Residence Manager and/or Assistant Residence Manager.
