Job summary

Chemtrade is seeking an Operations Team Leader/Shift Supervisor for the Toledo, OH facility. You will supervise operators, troubleshoot equipment, and optimize production while ensuring environmental compliance and safety standards.

You will coordinate maintenance with budgets and schedules, review data daily, and strive for efficient material use and high-quality products. A base salary in the 130k–135k range plus overtime and benefits is offered, with a 5k increase after training completion.

• Review operating data daily to optimize yields and efficiency.
• Monitor raw material utilization and production yields.
• Ensure environmental compliance across air, water, and solid waste.
• Support Responsible Care programs to maintain safe conditions.
• Prepare, update and review operating procedures for safe, efficient operation.
• Coordinate operations and maintenance to meet budgets and schedules.

About This Role and You

The Shift Supervisor is to provide on-shift supervision of operators and plant operations. They will troubleshoot and resolve equipment and operating problems and review operating data daily. They will monitor raw material utilization and production yields to ensure most efficient utilization of materials and optimization of quality products as well as ensure environmental compliance for all areas of operation; air, water, and solid. Support and participate in Responsible Care programs to maintain safe working conditions for employees and the environment. Prepare, update and review operation procedures to ensure safe and efficient operation of the facility. Coordinate operations and maintenance activities to meet department goals involving budgets, production schedules and raw materials consumption.
