Job summary

Menasha Corporation is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee manufacturing activities across a multi-shift environment in Wisconsin. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and timely delivery while coaching and developing a salaried and hourly production team.

The ideal candidate will have a High School diploma (Bachelor's preferred) and at least 2 years of relevant production experience, with strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and continuous improvement practices.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of and ability to apply policies and procedures guiding manufacturing processes.
• Understanding of safety regulations and environment protection in a plant setting.
• Familiar with manufacturing technology and continuous improvement methods.
• Experience guiding salaried and hourly production teams.

Responsibilities

• Implements operational strategies in assigned area to meet safety, productivity, quality, and profitability goals.
• Accountable for area KPIs including machine and labor efficiencies and guide production staff to meet scorecard targets.
• Supports capacity planning to meet on-time delivery for internal and external customers.
• Collaborates with cross-functional leaders to support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provides guidance on staffing, training, and performance management for the production team.
• Interacts with stakeholders to resolve order problems or complaints.
• Maintains knowledge by networking and reviewing industry publications.

Other duties may be assigned.• Implements operational strategies in assigned area(s) to assure company objectives in the areasof safety, productivity, quality, customer service, sales, human capital, cost and profitability• Accountable for assigned area’s key performance metrics including machine and labor efficienciesand provides guidance to production associates to ensure scorecard objectives are met• Supports capacity planning process to meet internal and external customer on-time-deliverydemands• Collaborates with cross-functional leaders to support continuous improvement initiatives todrive operational excellence• Provides guidance on staffing, training, employee relations and performance management todevelop and enhance the salaried and hourly production team, working closely with direct reports• Interacts with key stakeholders to provide technical support and/or resolve order problems orcomplaints• Maintains industry, professional and technical knowledge by networking, attending industryevents, and reviewing professional publicationsEducation & Experience• High School diploma required, Bachelor’s degree preferred• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience requiredKnowledge, Skills & Abilities• Knowledge of and ability to use and influence organization's policies, standards and proceduresguiding manufacturing processes• Knowledge of methods, accepted practices, considerations and regulatory requirements associatedwith safety and protection of workers, environment and site• Knowledge of the existing and planned approaches and methods for manufacturing products orproduct components• Knowledge of day-to-day and strategic issues, operational requirements and management of amanufacturing facility• Knowledge of the day-to-day operations of a manufacturing plant or facility• Knowledge of technologies and applications used in manufacturing products and in theoptimization of manufacturing processesPhysical Requirements & Work Environmen t• Primarily works in a production and/or warehouse setting with time also spent in an officesetting.
