Job summary

Rite of Passage is hiring a Shift Supervisor for the Jacksonville Youth Academy in Jacksonville, FL. You will lead daily operations, ensure program compliance, and supervise at least two full-time staff in a safe, supportive setting.

Required a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, plus 3 years in juvenile treatment and 1 year of supervision. Military experience allowed; license requirements apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Public/Business Administration, Behavior Science, Counseling, Secondary Education, Health, Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, Criminal Justice or related field or equivalent experience.
• Three years of juvenile treatment experience; one year supervisory experience; military experience accepted.
• Must meet state licensing requirements in addition to company requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily management and supervisory control of Group Living operations as part of the Site Management Team.
• Ensure programs are implemented per policy and licensing requirements at the Jacksonville Youth Academy.

Day in the Life: The Shift Supervisor is a member of the Site Management Team. Primarily responsible for the daily management and supervisory control of Group Living operations under the supervision of the Director of Group Living and/or Program Director. Ensures ROP programs are being implemented in accordance with ROP policies and procedures and Federal, State and Local licensing requirements. This position must have full and direct supervision of a minimum of two full-time employees.

To be considered you should: Bachelor’s degree in Public/Business Administration, Behavior Science, Counseling, Secondary Education, Health, Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, Criminal Justice, Social/Human Services OR any equivalent combination numbers of years’ experience, education and/or training that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position. Military experience and training is acceptable. Three (3) years of experience in a juvenile treatment (Residential, Behavioral, Dentition, Corrections, etc.) Related and/or equivalent experience may be substituted with approval. One (1) year supervisory experience. Must meet all individual state specific licensing requirements in addition to ROP requirements regarding education and experience.
